Not feeling Christmas.

There are those who aren’t feeling Christmas,

It’s not a time for joy and cheer.

There’s something looming over their lives,

There’s a loved one who’s no longer here.

Some people just aren’t feeling Christmas, it’s a time of worry and stress.

They’re not thinking about buying presents,

Or buying a new party dress.

They’re the ones who can’t put food on the table,

The ones who don’t have a home.

The ones for whom there’s no family,

And Christmas is spent all alone.

So, don’t that they’re being miserable,

And spoiling the festive mood.

To assume you know what they’re going through ,

is just damn rude.

Not everyone is feeling Christmas,

This much I know is true.

Just remember when you’re opening your gifts,

Not everyone is as fortunate as you.
